Sam Raj was born to Arputharaj and Emily Thangam. His family comes from tribal roots—palm tree climbers and carpenters. Humble origins. He chose the name Agni from Kalam's vision. Kalam had spoken of the fire latent within India—strength, confidence, indigenous capability. Agni embodies that fire. The name was not a brand. It was a commitment to become what Kalam had envisioned for the nation.
